Daily dose: 自己眼中的梁木

曾经习惯在入睡前读一会儿《飞鸟集》，其中有一句话令我琢磨了很久，直至回味Big Fish时，才突然明白了什么。那句隽永的话是：We read the world wrong and say that it deceives us.

这次看Big Fish对我触动最深的是他们父子的一次对话：

Father: Who do you want me to be?
Son: Just yourself, good, bad, everything, just show me who you are for once.
Father: I’ve been nothing but myself since the day I was born. And if you can’t see that, it’s your failing, not mine!
我有多少次去论断别人，去说“什么毛病，我永远也不会理解他”，有多少次去希望别人以我的生活准则来生活。我仿佛听见他们问我：Who do you want me to be? 我说：The way I am living. 

但是现在我会说，If I go through my life not understanding my beloved friends, it’s simply my failing, not theirs.

马太福音7章1-4节：你们不要论断人，免得你们被论断。因为你们怎样论断人，也必怎样被论断；你们用什么量器量给人，也必用什么量器量给你们。为什么看见你弟兄眼中有刺，却不想自己眼中有梁木呢？你自己眼中有梁木，怎能对你弟兄说“容我去掉你眼中的刺”呢？
