Search images in google with “Marilyn Monroe modern art” and I get the pictures. They are indeed works of a modern artisit. I have little idea of modern art either.
Oh, you did so much of Andy Warhol (those of Sarah’s link)…
Anyway, that is only a minimal part of modern art. If an art is popular to everyone, it is NOT modern:-)
And, all photography are modern art, coz there’s almost no camera before the modern era:-P
